How many ZIP codes does Plano have?

Six ZIP codes are Plano; a seventh mostly borrows the name. We measured them against the city limits with the Census Bureau's 2020 ZIP code tabulation areas: those six cover 98.9% of Plano's land, and each one is at least 96% inside the city. A seventh, 75094, has a 0.65-square-mile corner in Plano and lies mostly in Murphy and Parker. Seven more ZIPs (75002, 75010, 75013, 75056, 75082, 75252 and 75287) touch the city line by less than a tenth of a square mile each.

Plano ZIP code home values, east to west

Zillow's typical values (September 2026) are in the table and map above. Read them as a line across the city: the east side is the cheapest and the closest to DART rail, the west side is the most expensive and closest to the Legacy campuses, and the middle ZIPs sit between. Pick a budget or a commute first, and the ZIP mostly picks itself. Each profile below ends on its catch.

75074: the east Plano ZIP code by the rail stations

If you only tour one ZIP on a tight budget, make it this one. It has the lowest typical value in Plano, $362,198, and the only train at the door: DART lists its Downtown Plano, 12th Street and Shiloh Road stations at 75074 addresses, with Parker Road on the same east side. For a downtown Dallas commute by train, or frequent flights on the Silver Line to DFW, this is the start. The catch is that it also fell most, 4.48% in a year, so price any offer on this year's sales, not last year's. Our east Plano neighborhood guide covers the housing.

75023: the central Plano ZIP code under the citywide price

Entirely inside the city and about $84,000 under Plano's citywide typical value, at $413,745 (down 3.05%). It's the cheapest way to live in the middle of Plano, between the east-side stations and the west-side campuses. The catch: the rail stations are all east of it, so a train commute starts with a drive to Parker Road. The older Whiffletree I-IV neighborhood is in this ZIP.

75075: the south-central Plano ZIP code at the citywide price

At $456,334 (down 3.12%), its typical value is the closest of the six to Plano's citywide figure. It borders Richardson, whose CityLine/Bush Station is served by all three DART lines. The catch is that it's the middle of every range: no discount like 75074's, no Legacy address like 75024's.

75025: the north Plano ZIP code with this year's bigger drop

If your budget is $500,000 to $600,000, look here first. The typical value is $545,917, and its 3.97% drop is the largest of any Plano ZIP priced above the citywide figure. The catch: it has neither the rail stations of 75074 nor the Legacy campuses of 75024, so time the commute from a specific house before you commit.

75024: the northwest Plano ZIP code around Legacy

For a Legacy job, this is the short drive. The Legacy campuses, Legacy West and neighborhoods such as Deerfield and Kings Ridge are here, at a typical $628,592 (down 2.54%). The catch is the county line: 12.5% of the ZIP's land is in Denton County, where addresses use Denton's appraisal district and tax office, and Kings Ridge's HOA lists CoServ electricity and Lewisville ISD.

75093: the southwest Plano ZIP code at the top of the range

The highest typical value in Plano, $738,271, about twice 75074's. It also fell least, 0.88%, which means the least room to negotiate of any Plano ZIP this year. Around 9.8% of its land is in Denton County, so run the county check here too. Our west Plano guide covers 75093 and 75024 together.

75094: a Murphy and Parker ZIP code with a corner of Plano

Zillow lists 75094 at $578,828 (down 3.68%), but only 9.1% of the ZIP's land is in Plano. That figure is mostly a Murphy and Parker number, so don't use it to price a Plano house, and check the city on any 75094 listing.

Plano ZIP codes in Collin and Denton County

Census Bureau ZIP-to-county files put 75023, 75025, 75074 and 75075 entirely in Collin County. Two west-side ZIPs cross the county line: 75024 (87.5% Collin, 12.5% Denton) and 75093 (90.2% Collin, 9.8% Denton). The ZIP alone can't tell you which county a house is in. Search the address on the Collin Central Appraisal District site, then Denton's. Our page on which county Plano is in explains what changes on the Denton side.

Which Plano ZIP codes fell most this year

All six Plano ZIPs lost value in the 12 months to September 2026, and the two ends of the price range sit at the two ends of the list: 75074, the cheapest, fell most, and 75093, the priciest, fell least. The exception is 75025 in north Plano, priced above the city's typical value yet down nearly 4%. For a buyer, the bigger drops are where prices have already given ground, and 75025 is where that happens above the $500,000 mark.

ZIP codeTypical value, Sept 202612-month change
75074$362,198-4.48%
75025$545,917-3.97%
75075$456,334-3.12%
75023$413,745-3.05%
75024$628,592-2.54%
75093$738,271-0.88%

Citywide, Zillow's typical Plano value fell 3.33% to $497,714. Within the west-side ZIPs, some of the highest-value neighborhoods held or rose: Zillow had Willow Bend up 0.88% and Lakeside on Preston up 0.74%. So the discounts this year sit mostly in the east and central ZIPs. Our month-by-month Plano price trend follows the trend month by month.

What is the ZIP code for west Plano, Texas?

West Plano is ZIPs 75093 and 75024, split roughly at the middle of the west side, with 75093 to the south and 75024 to the north. They're the two most expensive Plano ZIP codes, at $738,271 and $628,592, and the only two with land in Denton County. Most of both is in Plano ISD, and parts of the far west are in Frisco ISD or Lewisville ISD: check each address with the district, and see our guide to Plano school districts.

Choosing a Plano ZIP code: four questions

  1. Is the train part of your commute? If yes, start in 75074, around the Plano DART stations.
  2. Is your job at Legacy? Start in 75024 and 75093, and accept the higher price.
  3. Is your budget near Plano's typical value of about $500,000? Look at 75023, 75075 and 75025, which bracket it.
  4. Is the house in 75024 or 75093? Check the county on the appraisal record before anything else, because the Denton County side changes the tax office and can change the electricity company and school district.

ZIP figures blend old and new houses, so a single subdivision can sit well above or below its ZIP. Linda can pull recent sales for the streets inside the ZIP you're leaning toward.

Plano ZIP code FAQs

What is the main ZIP code for Plano, Texas?

There's no single main ZIP code for Plano. Its six main ZIPs are 75023, 75024, 75025, 75074, 75075 and 75093, which together cover about 99% of the city's land by Census Bureau measurements. 75074 is the largest by land and includes downtown Plano. A small corner of 75094 is also in Plano, and the City of Plano uses PO box ZIP 75086 for utility payments.

What is the ZIP code for west Plano, Texas?

West Plano is ZIPs 75093 and 75024. They're the most expensive Plano ZIP codes by Zillow's September 2026 figures, at $738,271 and $628,592, and the only Plano ZIPs that include land in Denton County. The Legacy business district and Legacy West are in 75024. Check the county and school district for each address.

What county is Plano 75024 in?

Mostly Collin County. Census Bureau data puts 87.5% of the 75024 ZIP's land in Collin County and 12.5% in Denton County, on its western edge. Kings Ridge is one 75024 neighborhood on the Denton side. To check a specific address, search the Collin Central Appraisal District first and then Denton Central Appraisal District.

Which Plano ZIP code has the most expensive homes?

ZIP 75093 in southwest Plano had the highest typical home value, $738,271, in Zillow's September 2026 data, and it fell least over the year, 0.88%. 75024 was next at $628,592. Individual neighborhoods go far higher: Zillow put Shoal Creek at $1,647,184 and Willow Bend at $1,379,001.

Which Plano ZIP code is the most affordable?

ZIP 75074 in east Plano had the lowest typical home value in Zillow's September 2026 data, $362,198, down 4.48% over the year. It's also the ZIP around Plano's DART rail stations, including Downtown Plano, 12th Street and Shiloh Road. 75023 in central Plano was next at $413,745.

Does a Plano ZIP code tell you the school district?

No. School district boundaries don't follow ZIP codes. Most Plano addresses are in Plano ISD, but parts of the west side are in Frisco ISD or Lewisville ISD, and those areas share ZIP codes with Plano ISD streets. Check every address with the district's own school finder before you rely on a listing's school information.

Is 75094 a Plano ZIP code?

Only partly. Census Bureau data shows 9.1% of the 75094 ZIP's land, about 0.65 square miles, inside Plano's city limits; the rest is mostly in Murphy and Parker. Zillow's 75094 value, $578,828 in September 2026, therefore reflects those cities more than Plano. Use a Plano ZIP or neighborhood figure to price a Plano house.
